The book was published in 2016 and has since been translated into 7 languages. It’s a follow-up volume of Chineasy: The New Way to Read Chinese. However, it requires no experience of the first.
The book is divided into 11 chapters. Each begins with an overview of key characters before a presentation of the subject, using those characters as a basis, providing insight into how Chinese thinking has shaped its language and civilization in a way that anyone can understand and appreciate.
With over 400 most commonly used Chinese characters and the application of the world-renowned Chineasy Method in the book, readers can swiftly grasp basic concepts and words to build their understanding of the Chinese language. In addition, readers can learn both simplified and traditional Chinese characters in the book, as the difference is indicated in the index pages.
