ShaoLan, a Taiwanese entrepreneur based in London, couldn’t find a way to inspire her children to explore their own linguistic and cultural heritage. It was in this context that she came up with the idea for Chineasy: helping children and adults learn Chinese easily while having fun.
In recent years, she has been named by The Sunday Times Magazine as one of the twenty-one “Leading Ladies in Tech” (2015); by Apple as a “Woman Who Inspired” (2018); and by Microsoft as a “Person of Action” (2018).
